Line Management
- Line management for the Buyer Experience and Platform Team
- Working with management to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and the importance of documentation and workshops to create strength in depth within the teams
- Participating in hiring to build a diverse high performance engineering teams
- Conducting 1:1s on regular basis with team members to gather feedback, setting goals and objectives, performance management and promotions
Delivery
- Working closely with the head of department, CTO and product owners to stay abreast of the goals and deliverables across the department’s estate for both the quarter and the year
- Working closely with Product Managers to generate an effective roadmap for a business domain to deliver business KPIs
- Providing visibility and transparency to stakeholders on delivery progress, and actively reports and resolves blockers
Mentorship
- Technical mentorship for coaching and developing team members, including personal development
- Onboarding mentorship for new hired people
- Informal mentorship through code reviews or during ceremonies
